Isn’t the time taken by doing the resolve the first time it’s actually used rather than via this method to all intents and purposes indistinguishable, and certainly at human scale?

Same here. On a transatlantic flight I now get at least 30, 40 minutes.

You can’t get away with serving bad Indian food in Glasgow: there’s long history of great Indian restaurants here and everyone knows them. Bar discussions on which is ‘best’ can get heated, though often followed by a late meal to test the strength of the argument
