My first time tabling at @pdx_zines went great -- moved around 75% of what I printed, saw friends, and met a bunch of new people including folks collecting for libraries.

Also, I'm beyond amused that the zine that sold best was the one with a 2009 era blown out thirst trap for a cover.

I don’t have many hard held beliefs left, but “when friends ask you for help moving, help them move” is one of them.

On the other hand -- he couldn't resist using the culture's fear of transness for dramatic irony in his fictional account, which is an unsurprising thing to read in a 2009 punk zine.

On one hand, Cometbus just got it, which is a nice thing to read in a 2009 punk zine.

Most of my naïveté about the protest movement burned away during the 2004 Republican convention, and occupy took the rest — but it was a warm and good feeling seeing everyone walking back yesterday.

Nine days post concussion (rear ended in Seattle, cars are terrible) and I’m still having some sinus and eye strain weirdness. No screens means resorting to primitive measures.

Usual chill and normal response from the wealthy former bohemian neighbors re: losing the community board that has stayed active out front.

Looks like the old Food Front co-op building is (finally?) being redeveloped.

Thought I was headed to the U District for a conversation with 2006 me but instead stumbled into some kind of food street fair populated by children who were barely, if at all, alive in 2006. Scored a sweet ass book though.

Looks like @littlepuss.net‘s media mail trash (based) finally washed up on the shores of the Pacific Northwest. (this is good)

Wrote a whole zine about that time of my life a few years back to process My Shit™ -- the Jezebel article and her biography features.

tfw you innocently go to the art supply store, take in your surroundings, feel a lunging sense of anxiety and grief, and then realize you’ve stumbled across the Wendy and Lucy Walgreens

Endless thanks to @submorstua.bsky.social and @lukejsuth.bsky.social for letting a middle aged lady work out her nineties and aughties shit in print. Copies of @lilacperil.bsky.social are still available to order but will sell out quick — grab one while you still can.
