I made a little idk techno loop?

Was doing a robotic hepatectomy yesterday and our attending couldn’t get the Pringle maneuver to work. In my opinion, it was cuz the metal bulldog clamp wasn’t tight enough against the piece of Foley catheter and kept slipping up the umbilical tape. I wonder what we could have done differently.

I guess I’ll start it off with the #vascular #cst talk. I’ve been doing thoracoabdominal aneurysm repairs for over a year now and I’m curious about what other surgeons use regarding sutures, when closing the chest.
