The next election is critical. I fear that rural Albertans see these changes as progress. They're not. A government that cares about Alberta would never make these choices. These policies were debated, then deliberately approved.

I think they know they’re in trouble. We need to be careful to not give them any credit for backpedaling in the right direction.

Remember when people bitched that the NDP spent too much money? We got something for it though - Hospital and schools and a reduction in child poverty. The UCP dwarfs their spending, and all we get is bullshit panels, doomed litigation, anti-Canada propaganda and gifts to billionaires.
