Visited Tammalang Pier in #Satun province, #Thailand. Went for a walk in the mangrove forest and spotted a troop of Dusty Leaf Monkeys (Spectacled Langurs). First time seeing mangrove forest. Spotted lots of interesting crabs, and mud skippers too.

One of the most interesting days of my trip took me from the city of #Narathiwat, to S-ngai Kolok along route 4062 close to the Malaysian border, then up to Si-Sakhon, and on to #Yala. It was a bit dicey going by car. I’d like to go back again though. Also stopped at the Chok Bakong Bridge.

It’s official. As of yesterday I’ve visited every province in #Thailand. The last one was #Trang. It’s taken a while to see all 77 provinces. Hope to spend more time in all of them!

Just arrived in #Satun, and this is probably the cleanest city I’ve been to in #Thailand. It’s kind of remarkable! My 76th province. One more to go.

Through check in and security, and sitting at the gate. The Air Canada check-in lady was nice enough to move me up 21 rows for my very short layover in #yvr. Once I am on my flight to Japan, I will be able to relax. Back in #BKK soon!

I will be flying out of Canada tomorrow, and trying to check into my flight, filling out arrival cards, etc. I sometimes wonder who actually creates these apps and tests them because they are a real PoS.

The French have had some good ideas. May need to give them a try.

Two of Israel’s best-known human rights groups said Monday that Israel was committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, adding fuel to an international debate over whether the death and destruction there have crossed a moral red line.
In a First, Leading Israeli Rights Groups Accuse Israel of Gaza Genocide
Israel says it is fighting against Hamas, not Palestinians as a group. But two of Israel’s best-known rights groups — long critical of Israeli policy — now say they disagree.

I’m willing to bet the situation is similar in Canada.

Contrary to the other regime talking heads,Trump is framing the attack on Iran as one with the end goal of regime change.

I think that if Iran were to view it the same way, it may have the secret support of virtually every other country on the planet.

Well, bombing Iran should really help drop American grocery prices. I’m sure Americans losing food stamps, social security, and Medicaid will be comforted knowing their sacrifices will help fund the wealthy and restocking of the military. /s

It’s nice when you discover a software bug, contact the tech company, they respond quickly, and after a bit of testing, they let you know their engineers are working on it. I just wish the bigger companies, with more resources, would do the same.

So many sites use @cloudflare.social these days. How many hours of our lives are wasted waiting for this PoS? Why bother? Hit the back button. I might be more patient if it worked well.

My, how things change.
This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

Got to my hotel in Chanthaburi and, before I even had time to relax and unpack, spotted these Yellow Vented Bulbuls right outside my hotel window.
