Share these tidbits with them from the study. The press release makes some wild claims when you look at what the actual report says.

I love being able to walk downtown for a delicious baguette. No driving needed.

I guess we gotta tear down the ugly ‘80s building on Cabot 😅

I have seen people praise it and try to claim it’s just like past renovations. This graphic is floating around. I can no longer tell if people are being intentionally obtuse.

A CHILD was run over and it looks like the driver attempted to flee, but the child gets charged. To add insult to injury the police don’t even seem to know e-bike laws.

Democrats showing again that they don’t give two flying you-know-what’s about DC.

Good morning to everyone whose city requires you to pay for school bus pickup/dropoff but also has no safe way for those students to walk/bike/roll to school.

Had this happen recently around the corner from my house! She had a medical emergency but how tf do you end up flipping your car in that scenario? Does this happen in other countries?

It also brings up the issue of how elderly folks are still driving when they shouldn’t be due to car dependency...

A company that offers early blood tests to learn the sex of your baby calls them as gender tests 🙄

Damn I wish I had a need for this.

Maybe I create a need? 🤔

We have asphalt sidewalks in Massachusetts and I absolutely hate them. They’re typically much bumpier and just…look bad. I think asphalt also encourages ppl to park up on the sidewalk (see below).

Asphalt is better for dealing with large tree roots though; I’ll give it that.

What better way to start off our Little Free Library than with a copy of the Urban Bikeway Design Guide by @nacto.bsky.social?!

The current ridership numbers aren’t…great. Cape Cod had over 5M visitors last year.

I think I need to start a families for safe streets group in my city. This is the second car that has flipped on this road since I moved here in October.

Exhibit A: My husband’s hometown’s stance on workforce housing.

It seems bad that planning staff is supportive of restrictive zoning practices & making baseless claims that townhouses would negatively impact SFHs.

The “negative impact”? The THs are 45’ tall & the SFHs are 35’.
