I’m not an American but the phrase ‘cultural and spiritual health’ carries hints of ‘neo-traditionalism’, a supremacist ideology that sees America and Russia as white, christian, conservative nations and thus natural allies. If you’re swimming in those waters you’d use phrases like this.

We have got to make politics intellectual again. It is the only way that societies thrive is when politicians have the capability to actually think and reflect deeply:
