I maintain the biggest red flag for TradCaths and their Orthodox and Islamic cousins is they do not participate in the life of their parish/mosque.

Help clean up tables after coffee hour, or Lenten fish frys, or iftar. It'll be a lot more valuable to yourself and others than being weird and alone.
Whether it's the military, church, or something else, young men desperately need institutions in their lives that help them have direction, feel wanted and purposeful, and stay out of trouble. The decline of young male participation in such organizations is very, very problematic.
