The Ukraine peace deal will include that country losing some of its territory to Ruzzia. Probably Crimea, chunks of Donbas, Donetsk.
But the trade-off must be that Ukraine joins NATO.
Without that there just isn't any deal worth having, because 5 years from now, they'll be back.
