Thank you Cheri for this well needed challenge and for all the posts this month. A walk to and from work plus 2 miles at work today completed this month’s challenge. April’s goal is to surpass March’s steps and keep on walking! Another challenge for me is posting so 2 goals met this month!

Just when I thought I had put my treadmill away for winter, Mother Nature had a different plan as it was a mix of snow and ice so out came the treadmill! Keeping a positive, adaptable, resilient mindset helps me set goals, see opportunity, handle stress. April goal surpass March’s total steps

And a great day of walking it was! Amazing what dropping the car off at the garage, walking to the store and home, cleaning the house and walking with a walk with a friend can do to make a great day of walking!

My treadmill is away for the next few months but I’ve printed the article and it’s on my treadmill for the fall! I always find I need different walking ideas especially in the winter!
Walk to and from work today 1.50 miles in the books!

I’m very envious of your blue sky!! It’s snowing in Maine and made for a snowy walk home from work! 🙂.

Great article! Working out along with walks helps address #3 and #4. Walking on different terrains is a little trickier in the winter but I’m looking forward to taking nature walks once the snow melts fully.

Things are great. Research that I have read says that it takes on average 21 days to start a new habit. I feel that walking everyday is helping make this my new habit! By day 18, I am planning on when I’m going to take daily walks and holding myself accountable to do so.

I saw daffodils on my walk at lunch today! And I walked with a colleague! Double win!

Great 4 mile walk today where I smelled the fresh spring air, felt the swing bridge bouncing as I walked over it, heard the water rushing, saw the bright blue sky! Oh at tasted a lemon macro bar on my way home 🙂 =
