Experiencing both back to back feels like comparing a somewhat nice fever dream to an incomplete parody of multiple peoples works. Almost like you need to consider it a spin-off from the start just to enjoy the nice parts. Quite off putting.

Honestly, whatever Goichi Suda tried with Moonlight Syndrome is at best distasteful and at worst pretentious. Even with Twilight's extra chapter being just a complete hijack of the original material, at least it holds itself together.
