Putin is trying to call Europe's bluff by threatening war. The problem is that many Europeans are bluffing, they completely lack the bravery and stamina needed to win a war. This is what 35 years of appeasement has done to us.

Zelenskyy is only being positive to the "peace" plan because he knows the Russians will say no, and he needs Trump's good will to get intel and guns. Russians like the peace process because they use it to stall western support for Ukraine so that Ukraine will be easier to destroy later.

The Americans are only interested in the process because the Russians have promised Trump half Siberia if Trump hand them Ukraine on a platter.
None of the parties involved in the peace process have peace at the top of their agenda. Survival, imperial chauvinism and greed are their drivers.

EU commissioner: Russia must be held accountable for war crimes
European Commissioner for Justice Michael McGrath believes that US President Donald Trump's efforts to secure peace in Ukraine should not allow Russia to evade accountability for war crimes.

Peace becomes achievable when Putin abandons his dream of restoring USSR – French Foreign Ministry
France's Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot is convinced that ending the war in Ukraine is entirely realistic, but the main obstacle remains the imperial ambitions of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

To cut off that fuel, Europe must:
-Enforce sanctions fully & close loopholes
-Shut down the shadow fleet in the Baltic
-Send more long-range munitions, incl. #FreeTaurus
-Increase ammo & air defense support, incl. #SkyShieldNow
-Use frozen RU assets to fund Ukraine’s defense, incl. those in Belgium

Has Russia ever, in its entire history, negotiated in good faith, or kept an international agreement?

Ukraine is not negotiating with Russia, it's negotiating with the U.S. about a continued alliance or not, access to weapons and intel.

Like if Ukraine push Russia back across the border Putin would say "Okay, it's enough. I will admit defeat and sign a peace treaty. Then I will stand in front of my people like the biggest loser since Tsar Nikolai II. That will be my legacy. No problem".
I find it interesting that so many people think the war will end with a negotiated peace agreement. The issue now they say is that Russia just needs to be pushed harder to negotiate in good faith. But would Russia start negotiating just because it's pushed back?

So, to end the war Russia must be totally defeated and a regime change must take place at the same time.

The myth about the invincible Russia is a real obstacle to people's understanding of the war. I also beg to differ with @marceldirsus.com, Ukraine might very well march on Moscow. If Russia collapses those 500 km from Ukraine's border are not so much.
There are arguments against helping Ukraine, but I just don't buy that Ukraine's "inevitable defeat" is one of them. They're not going to march on Moscow, but with the right support they're clearly capable of inflicting incredibly high costs on Russia

They are aware that Russians quite literally wrote the capitulation document that some people in the White House and sadly many people in the media refer to as a peace plan.
Congressional Republicans including Senator Mitch McConnell are openly blasting President Trump’s team of appeasing Russia, warning that doing so would not lead to lasting peace.
