God Killer on 1-8, I can go sleep happy 😆

BTW, I was wondering whether you ever considered a replay feature? There are ghosts recording and from your devlog, it seems you replay a run to warm up shaders... could that be a feature to replay one's run? (e.g. to record it after the fact).

Coming from the demo, 1-3 was a joy to discover!

I just got God Killer on 1-7, a classic.

Not sure yet how I feel about weapons like Toothpick wrt leaderboards, somehow my previous Hex medal with Sire's Blade seemed to require more skill/practice. But it's fun to try new strategies with weapons 😅

You're in it already!

If you follow the curators, you should see it in the right sidebar like on this screenshot.

Do you know that we have Steam curators to list games #MadeWithGodot?

The first one reached max capacity (2000 games), so we opened a second one.

You can follow both to see Godot games right in their Steam page.

Third map, I fought hard for that win, didn't make it to sub-20s :(
That will be for another day :D

Couldn't do better yet on the first map, so let's ace the second one 😈

(Yes I practiced a lot on the demo a few months ago :P)

New all-time peak CCU :)

How does that change your analysis of this second Daily Deal from 12 hours ago?
It seems you drew conclusions a bit fast before Asia and Europe really had (evening) time to play the game :D

The trend is looking good!

Just tested it, it's really great! Loads flawlessly without any error and it runs well.

The save/load system is a nice touch!

I checked what engines were used for the highest rated games in the latest #BrackeysGameJam...

🥁🥁🥁

Top 5: 100% Godot
Top 20: 16 Godot, 4 Unity (80% Godot)

🤯

The engine doesn't make a good game, so all the merit goes to the jammers, but it's still nice to see this sign of Godot adoption!

I guess it was even number 10 a few days ago before the Silksong drop :P

It seems to be the most wishlisted indie game though, all the ones before are AAA (maybe Subnautica 2 qualifies as AA).

I was a bit surprised to spot just 6 titles in the top 500 though, but that's only the ones I know of. There might be more games hiding in there which haven't made it obvious that they're using Godot.

Do you know the #GodotWildJam?

It's a 9-day #Godot focused game jam which happens every month, with an amazing community that gathers in the @godotwildjam.bsky.social Discord.

The 82nd edition just started with the theme:
UNSEEN

And wildcards (optional limitations):

600 PRs merged in the last month. 200 in the last week. 50 today.

Is this Stonks, or just the unreasonable rush of reviewing and merging a ton of goodies just before the feature freeze for #GodotEngine 4.5? 🧊

Seen on r/godot (by u/stergro), this absolutely made my day.

They've made their first game using #GodotEngine for their daughter, using her drawings as levels for a platformer.

Two new PBs tonight on #Bloodthief Demo, this game is phenomenal. I've rarely spent 10h on a demo 😅

Looking forward to the full release @blargis.bsky.social (#MadeWithGodot btw 😘)

Heh tbf that's not particularly exceptional for Godot :D

We merge around 15 PRs per day in average (5265 PRs over the past 365 days).

So 400 PRs is a month worth of PRs - after 2 months of feature freeze with only 500 PRs merged, the diff mostly checks out.

Question for #Vulkan graphics devs... do you all also play whack-a-mole with broken Vulkan layers from thirdparty applications?

Is there any good way to deal wit this, or should we start building a Vulkan Layers hall of shame and plug it into volk?
