this! I always felt like when she divulged the abuse & toxicity in her marriage with him at the S6 reunion, the way the group minimized what she went through had a lot to do with how she handled those friendships going forward. It’s starting to feel like they didn’t get it or didn’t care

This has always puzzled me, particularly since they failed to create a safe environment for Quad to express herself during her struggles with Dr. G. They made her feel like she was unsuccessful as a wife for not bringing a child into a toxic relationship with a harmful partner.
I’m catching up on #Married2Med and why has everyone admitted to not being close to Quad over the past year, but in the same breath have the nerve to be in a tizzy because she has a man and didn’t tell anybody 🙃???

Although we are selecting our champions, we need to thoroughly examine how programs and accolades such as Black Girls Rock and Soul Train are no longer present to honor Black excellence.
