It never ceases to amaze what my 4yo can and cannot remember. Today I found out he "doesn't know" how to put on his shoes, but he did tell me exactly which set one singular Lego piece belonged to.

The instant amnesia of toddlers is absolutely wild. On the way to school today, my 4yo said, out of nowhere:

H: I don't like Ms. F's rules
Me: Oh yeah? What are her rules?
H: "Stay in the line, hold the rope, no fighting"
Me: Wait, what?
H: What?
Me: Those are the rules?
H: What rules?
