I made this Pride flag using only NASA images and our team thought it would be cool to share on social (I work on the NASA heliophysics communications team), but it's getting all sorts of hate on the bird app and Fbook. Thought y'all might be more appreciative of it here. ☺️🏳️‍🌈💖

But Professor Golan answered me anyway.” Balthor paused for a moment, because he didn’t fully understand their words back then, the two boys were still quite early into their friendship. Now, however, he thought he understood them perfectly. “They said they knew you were destined for far greater things than the academy. Professor Golan couldn’t bear to clip your wings in such a way, even out of love. Aleric,” Balthor paused, the words ‘you’re loved no matter what you measure up to’ was on the tip of his tongue, but it didn’t seem like the right time to say them. “They really care for you.” Aleric’s eyes were hot and his nose burned, his hands tightly clutching his shirt to keep himself grounded. Not that it helped much, Balthor’s words leaving him feeling unmoored. His vision blurred until he could no longer see the stars overhead and he squeezed his eyes shut, a couple of tears escaping and burning shamefully down his cheeks. It hurt so much, too much. To be loved.
