Does that mean you’re the one to thank for keeping the $1.50 hot dog and pop?

I yelled out, “Oh, no! Whatever happened to ‘Lower of cost or net realizable value’!” within 10 minutes of this episode.

I was there again about a month ago! It’s a great country to hang around in (yes I know I was on vacation and didn’t have to work). Didn’t visit Galway this time, but I need to go back there.

It’s just constant negativity and oneupsmanship without doing anything to either improve society or themselves that isn’t yelling at someone on Twitter about how evil someone is or how helpless they themselves are. And it hurts because I miss that friendship.

I’m trying not to dox them (hence the pronouns) but they’re somewhat prominent in that circle. Constantly saying everything negative that reinforces their “leftist” or faux-activist bona fides (including the use of “brunch” as a slur). They were always somewhat neurotic, like freaking out over mpox.

I have a now-former friend (no I wasn’t the one who ended it) who got into Covid doomerism, is convinced they have every single long covid symptom (and maybe they have some, I don’t know). But all they do is spend time on Twitter complaining and running people down.

I need to buy looser fits. The slim fit of the arm isn’t doing me any favours.
