It's one of those ridiculous medical dramas, called Code Black. So I'll probably be rescued at the last minute with some terrible injury then need emergency surgery by an unqualified person following instructions being given over the phone, while a plane crashes nearby.

I don't think he was s'posed to be lazy; he was trapped & bored , & used his time to master several skills, but we didn't see everything. Note he mastered sword (the cut flower) but mostly used brawling, punching, against Mizu, which she wasn't prepared for.

I love this show! Wouldn't call it anime, though, just animation (for adults) set in Japan

The other folks he plays with, overlapping into another group typically associated more with an SMP series called Empires, are all great creators, including some ladies, all family-friendly. Too many names to specifically list, but check some out.
