This is an incredibly important thread and post, and another big datapoint for the theory that misunderstanding and misuse of public opinion is part of why Dems keep getting stuck in the ditch.
During the 2024 campaign, Trump and his MAGA allies did not hide their intentions towards immigrants like Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
But media, pollsters, and consultants did—minimizing or outright ignoring Trump's explicit threats in an effort to avoid accusations of bias, partisanship, or alarmism.

This is an incredibly important thread and post, and another big datapoint for the theory that misunderstanding and misuse of public opinion is part of why Dems keep getting stuck in the ditch.
Some perspective: Thousands have lost their jobs, & critial services have been cut to "save" what would be pocket change to the man making the cuts. Elon could personally pay for all D.O.G.E. did and still be the richest man in the world. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/24/u...
