In light of new federal transportation priorities, state govts NEED to be supportive of their transit systems. Taking away $$$ for operations is not the move.
Transit is a regional issue. States have a moral and economic obligation to support it.

$9 congestion pricing is the perfect middle ground price where you manage to piss off both proponents and opponents! If you don't love that, you don't love American politics!

One of the most underrated aspects of the transit experience is cleanliness of the vehicle and stations. I was taking the train with a coworker and he commented that it was the first time he saw the train clean.
How do we expect people to buy in to using transit if they don't feel comfortable?
