Every decision about transportation is about identity. We choose who transportation serves and who it inconveniences.

Duffy is signalling that USDOT is doubling down on supporting those that already benefit from the USA's transportation policies (read: white suburbanites).

Are Surly bikes worth it?

Went to a bike shop this weekend to snoop for a new commuter bike, and they seem like the iPhone of bikes (both in a complimentary and derogatory way)

In light of new federal transportation priorities, state govts NEED to be supportive of their transit systems. Taking away $$$ for operations is not the move.

Transit is a regional issue. States have a moral and economic obligation to support it.

Walz budget would cut general funding for LRT, tap transit sales tax
Transit and environmental advocates who pushed for the sales tax to expand rather than maintain transit are not happy with the proposal.

The line between concern and exclusion gets really blurry with communities like this.
The roads haven’t been repaired for 100 years, have drainage issues, few sidewalks and barely a patch of grass

Kendrick dropped, SEPTA is getting funding, and the downfall of Daniel Jones is complete. What a beautiful Friday.

$9 congestion pricing is the perfect middle ground price where you manage to piss off both proponents and opponents! If you don't love that, you don't love American politics!

One of the most underrated aspects of the transit experience is cleanliness of the vehicle and stations. I was taking the train with a coworker and he commented that it was the first time he saw the train clean.

How do we expect people to buy in to using transit if they don't feel comfortable?

One Piece is lit as hell

They got a sea train that takes them from island to island, meanwhile it took me an hour to travel 3 miles by bus today.
