If only we had an entire political movement dedicated to one constitutional amendment whose entire reason for existing is to prevent government agents from occupying American cities.

Democrats should be leveraging the 250th, especially next year's Independence Day anniversary, for the midterm elections. The language of resistance, rights, and freedom is tailor-made for the present moment. Embrace it!

Goldberg is running circles around the liars in this administration. It’d be like me playing dodgeball against a couple of 2nd graders.

The “Civil War was caused by Yankee tariffs” crowd has been pretty quiet lately…

Won’t tariffs on Mexico tank that nation’s agricultural sector, thereby increasing poverty and unemployment there? Won’t that result in increased migration to the US?

Everyone on planet earth knew that Gaetz would withdraw. This was an ill conceived plan to get him out of the House to prevent the release of the ethics report. I thought they were playing 4d chess?

I'm not sure which is more exhausting: being a department chair or parenting two children under the age of 6.

Ain’t that the truth.
Potty training is great because it's like "you know how you're barely pretending to hold it together? what if things got way harder and worse for an undetermined period of time?"

Amazing breakdown of two of my favorite things: primary sources and men’s outerwear.
In 1942, at the height of the Second World War, Alfred Eisenstaedt photographed sweethearts bidding each other farewell before the men depart for war, not knowing if they'd ever return. These candid shots give us a glimpse of what average Americans wore.

Let's look at the details. 🧵
