I think we're experiencing something similar to when every network decided to make their own streaming service, but with creators and small productions studios that mainly post online.
Nearly every group I watch now has their own platform -- Dropout, Mythical Society, Beacon (just to name a few)

I need someone to invent fully disposable clothes.
I want to come home, peel off my rubberized cocoon, and use a can to spray on a new pair of shorts and a shirt.

Y'know, I love desktop apps made with electron as much as the next person, but having 5+n of these apps on top of a browser all running simultaneously is just ridiculous. I can't keep adding RAM to my computer guys, please 😭
