I'm not sure how many collective calamities and events we need to live through before we finally get it in our heads that we ALL need skilled up in disaster/emergency management skills and teamwork. Scrap school! Today's top career choices must be tree surgery and roofing.

Nobody is coming to save us. We need to stop expecting leaders to be the caring responsible parents we probably didn't have anyway and start addressing the many challenges within our immediate environment that we wish someone else would fix.

The US election result is a wake up call to switch focusing on stuff out there that we cannot control and actually pay attention to all the issues close to home we are NOT addressing...hmm water management, waste management, parking and congestion, waiting lists. Get the sleeves rolled up
