My daughter got a package from the USPS Operation Santa yesterday. I forgot she had mailed a letter was a little concerned since I thought her list had several expensive items and I was worried about some other kid not getting a nice present when we're fortunate enough to get what she needs/wants.

There's a house near my kid's school with a hand painted yard sign that says "CHOOSE JOY" but it's in a curly font so it looks like it says "CHEESE JOY" and I think that's beautiful.

My greatxwhatever uncle signed the Declaration of Independence. I've heard he was an abolitionist but he was definitely a major part of getting the 3/5 compromise passed. He also was a Supreme Court Justice at the same time he was in debtors prison. Maybe the founding fathers were bad, actually.
