Translation: Hi there,

It's your good buddies at Optus here.

Your thank you gift is waiting.

No, it's not a Triple Zero emergency service that doesn't go offline when you need an ambulance.

And no, it's not fair compensation for that time we had a […]

Got some exciting news to share @joannaholman

Apparently some peregrine falcons have been spotted around Parramatta.

Note: Not my photo so I can't confirm directly...

@ajsadauskas @joakimfors Just for a little extra context, here's a photo of the apartment buildings around the light rail stop at the northern end of the street.

And at the very northern end of the street, there's a pedestrian and cycling bridge over the […]

@ajsadauskas @joakimfors While the green coating is not contiguous, the bike lane is.

If you look at the first photo, the concrete path to the left of the shrubs is the regular footpath for walking. So it's completely separated from both cars and […]

@RunRichRun @ajsadauskas In the case of Philip Ruddock, evil never dies.

Seriously, if you were doing a live-action remake of The Simpsons, you could cast Ruddock as Mr Burns and he'd look and act the part.

Here's a Sydney Morning Herald article from […]

I recently did a post praising Pizza Hut.

Then they sent an example of why LLMs shouldn't be used in marketing without human supervision.

What in the ChatGPT is going on with those goal posts?

I'm ordering from Domino's next time...

And so the enshittification of ChatGPT begins.

CMOs are now looking for ways to game those large language model algorithms.

After all, millions of people are now turning to ChatGPT for advice and uncritically accepting what it says as true.

So if […]

Some of the stuff on LinkedIn is just beyond satire.

Forget vibe coding, the big new buzzword, at least according to LinkedIn, is vibe marketing!

And no, I'm not making this one up, just see the screenshot for an example.

At least the NSW government wouldn't be so foolish as to spend billions buying Rosehill Racecourse — on the Parra River […]

Now here's where the Phanpy situation is an issue.

When I go into System Update, while YunoHost is quyerying the server, it lists "Failed to read info for phanpy : 'arguments'".

When I go to do a system update, it produces an error that reads:
