While the EU AI Act and the Whistleblower Protection Directive lay strong legal foundations, key gaps remain in strengthening AI whistleblower protections in the EU.

Our guest contributor, Jakub Kryś (Tallos Fellowship), addressed the gaps and provided recommendations in his recent research.

Based on insider sources, Meta will split its AI division into four separate groups, focusing on:
- research
- 'superintelligence'
- products
- infrastructure

However, this effort could "constitute an outright downsizing of its AI division," said NYT insiders.
