Apparently all of my efforts on Bluesky, "bother users".

I think I'll go back to writing my Newsletters.

If this is how Bluesky treats Creators.

If Substack isn't the place for DeepSeek and AI news, I don't know what is.

Sure you can get more original insights on Subreddits, more viral memes on X. But the amount of coverage on SS is insane on this story.

Substack even plans write a curated article on the topic to be sent to its millions

Zuck wondering if Bezos is secretly behind DeepSeek.

Finally some recognition from the only person that really matters, AI itself.

DeepSeek seems to recognize my work:

In 10 to 20 years we are going to laugh and smile at the beginnings of Generative AI.

Many of these brands and products will no longer exist in 2035. Very retro companies and products.

A while ago it was model merging, now it's distilled models.

American capital is just setting foundations for what comes next.

China has structural advantages in the future of emerging tech. - Kyle Chan.

EVs, batteries, lidar, drones, robotics, smartphones, AI. China's progress across a range of overlapping industries creates a mutually reinforcing feedback loop.

The story of how Microsoft stole AutoGen from its creators should one day be told.

It got so bad they had to hard-fork AutoGen to AG2.

I combed through some insane subreddits to learn about the story. No wonder Microsoft Research folk are leaving.

And I quote:

Sam Altman sounds like a "VC-Operator" being controlled by an AGI.

Who needs tycoons in such a future eh?

Substack Notes is driving absurd levels of Newsletter signups now in a span of elections, TikTok exodus, Winter storms and an improving algo.

I've effectively paused my Newsletter on Ghost, Kit, beehiiv, etc... to focus just on this.

If you didn't think America is now just an oligarchy or broligarchy go on YouTube and watch Trump's announcement of Stargate.

How can this be the best or most powerful country? The future is truly bleak.

Sam Altman feels like the Darth Vader of Generative AI.

When did the dark force get to him I wonder? Looks like a product of Peter Thiel.

Brave new world, Sam Altman learning from Trump it seems.

Altman rubbing elbows with aging folk of a previous generation.

Creating a compute moat via third party debt financing! Nice!

Dystopian as fuck! (DAF)

Via Luma AI, Ray2. Ray2 is a large–scale video generative model capable of creating realistic visuals with natural, coherent motion.

Stargate is a big deal, because it changes the scale of AI infrastructure mega projects immediately. UAE oil money right here for OpenAI.

Via Azeem Azhar.

Goldman’s CEO says that AI drafts 95% of an IPO prospectus in minutes, not weeks. The remaining 5%—human judgment and nuance—is where modern banking's value resides.

The Washington Post is imploding and it has lost most of its traffic in the past 3 years.

Its journalists are leaving + founding edgy Substacks in the hopes of profiteering from writing about authoritarianism. Lmao

I am considering opt-ing out from all American based social media.

If my account goes dark, you'll know what has occured. I don't believe the U.S. should be controlling the global (western) internet any longer.

They have failed being good custodians. To users, to society, to our mental health.

Hyperscale Data Center Capacity to Triple by 2030, Driven by Generative AI…

That’s according to the latest forecast from Synergy Research Group.

But the capex for AI and the Nuclear energy required to power it doesn't yet exist.

Over 150k tech jobs had layoffs in 2024 and I expect a lot more in 2025.

As technology moves faster, startups that got funding a few years ago become obsolete faster too.
