One of the biggest tells of AI slop is when there are multiple people interacting they don’t make eye contact. These two men in a supposed fight for an airplane seat are looking straight past each other. Also, why would this story take 23 minutes to tell?

I’m sure this isn’t your fault, but I’d like to note for educational purposes that your posted pic seems to be a bad AI passthrough of the original (the first pic). You can tell from the badges and some of the hands.

Call me crazy, but I think the new Reagan portrait Trump hung in the Oval Office is GenAI. It doesn’t really look like him. The background falls apart in a way that is messy rather than impressionistic, and I think the JPEG distortion in the painting that is worse than the rest of the photo.

This is most definitely AI slop, and I don’t need a detector to prove it. You’ve got a lot of blobby details and lines that no human being would paint. Also, what person would make the moon square?

I can’t be sure at this size, but the style, single line weight, pole not quite held in the hand, bland pose, and font scream GenAI to me. That would be a real shame if so.

Clearly, they just took Jennifer Lover Hewitt and compressed her face a bit. The really disturbing thing is that it doesn't have a smile squint. It's grinning but its eyes are wide open. It's freakish.

It's Jennifer Love Hewitt with a shorter nose/face. If she wasn't a huge part of the training data I'd be shocked. Real actors should be demanding to know what this slop is based on because it didn't come from nowhere. That's not how slop works.

Here's another funny one that for some reason puts Janice Rand in a white ball gown and puts Charlie X in a red shirt. And that plant?! I'm assuming the videos behind all these clickbait AI thumbnails are AI voiced and full of fake info. I don't want to give them the clicks to find out.

Nothing gets me blocked faster than calling people out on posting slop. People will have the most insane political arguments with you for days on end. But there is an emotional attachment to slop that I don’t understand. The only answer is that they know they’re wrong and they’re embarassed.

What do you do when you know you’re posting AI slop but you don’t want to be taken to task for it? You disable replies and quote tweets, something @jooliaghoulia.bsky.social hasn’t done in any of her other posts.
