it's spring (!) but it's also allergy season so I'm only allowed to enjoy the nice weather & longer days in moderation and wow it's not even peak grass pollen season yet

very shocking episode as a whole, the villainy of the state is cartoonish. The segment on the immigrant hit the hardest as it really could have been me in another lifetime.
For our "Museum of Now" episode this week, @emmanueldzotsi.bsky.social brings a chunk of concrete with some yellow paint on it, an artifact from the demolition site in DC where the giant Black Lives Matter letters were dug out of the street.

really enjoying listening to BBC sounds these days, it's nice to listen to music (I hope!) semi curated by humans with some human commentary and radio 3 unwind is my favourite!

Travelled with my British passport for the first time last week & no one asked me a single question on why I was visiting the country or what I did in the UK.
Without immigration checks, getting out the airport just took 5 min! Otherwise I would spend an hour at Heathrow minimum, unbelievable!

Been obsessed with the Empire podcast series on the Mughals the last few weeks so really excited to see The Great Mughals Exhibition at the V&A today!

Haven’t yet finished a project but I already have more soft yarn to play with. So far the first 100 hundred hours have been about undoing the yarn after every single mistake :-)

Really disgusting weather today, took me full 30 min to walk back a mile home in 35 kmph winds. We seem to have a storm every month now.
