He’s falling into Farage’s trap. Why can’t they set out alternative policies or report on the work they’re currently doing without directly addressing him or reform.

The situation is different though. The only reason why Farage’s message is pulling through is b/c the opposition is weak. Reform were polling third, when Sunak led the tories and under badenoch it’s the tories that are polling third. Our party needs to go back to the centre to neutralise reform.
