I mean that there will never be a line in the sand about what plugins constitute "fine" and what ones don't, and because the community can't have that discussion maturely, no answer will never be ratified for official rules.

Or what about accessibility tools because although XIV is better than some games, it can still have visual issues that present an issue to visually disabled folks, etc.

But FFLogs was indispensable in solving DSR and everybody was using it, so the unofficial stance even by world racers is that tool use *is* okay.
So what tools? Tools that only let you look "in review" but aren't active during? Define why.

You can't take advantage of the shared pool of knowledge generated by progression streams, make strats and theorycraft from other teams that you can see from all eight PoVs, and then REFUSE to contribute back into it with streams of your own while trying to claim faster/better clear times.
