To be honest.. a lot of fans are just tired of Stolas. It’s not because he’s queer, it’s not because he’s a gay man. A lot of ‘antis’ are actually queer themselves.

I was mostly arguing that queer characters shouldn’t be not allowed to do certain things… especially when in real life, queer people do those things. It’s not always ‘edgy’, it’s that it happens and art shows what happens in reality

Honestly I don’t think the Valentino Angel haters are the same as the ones sticking around with Stolas. They wouldn’t have tolerated Blitzo’s relationship- they used to criticize it as abusive in power dynamics.

I don’t think people are literally telling Viv to kill Stolas off. They’re just tired of his character getting so much screen time but not getting much growth.

It’s an indie show, not a hundred episode production. If you present an arc and don’t finish it, people will get impatient.

The show IS a cautionary tale— about your issues ruining your life. Especially on Blitzo’s end.

Their social roles are what fucks them over. Blitzo is hardly negatively affected by his queerness. Stolas is the one living a heteronormative life, but he’d be just a screwed if he dated a female imp

Stolas failing doesn’t mean the other characters won’t. Moxxie has gotten better, Blitzo and Stolas haven’t. If Stolas or Blitzo fails, that doesn’t mean the other can’t.

Stolas killing himself could be about self improvement— it’s the consequences of NOT improving. Done. Basic storytelling.
