An einem Sonntag arbeiten gehen ist nicht gleich Ausbeutung. Und es sind nicht nur Tourist:Innen, die davon was hätten, wenn die deutschsprachigen Länder sonntags nicht einfach trüb zumachen würden wegen der Religion manchen Bewohner:innen.

Nein, fast alles hat zu. Ich komme aus Schottland. Wochenendarbeit wird bei uns sehr oft von Schüler:innen und Studierenden
gemacht, nicht von den gleichen Menschen wie Werktags — und ich war super froh um diese Möglichkeit, wie ich das gemacht hat!

as a generalised increase in pediatric heart ailments/irregularities and ailments now that children are being exposed to COVID endemically. I don’t think this study goes into that, if I’ve read it correctly.

If I understand correctly, they didn’t seek to assess if the vaccines offered protection but included these as variables they corrected for…? (Sorry, I am not in the medical field).

I’m very aware of the long tail - partner with long covid - but I’m more curious about whether this is showing up

1) any indication of protective effect of vaccine (and if so, for how long/after how many doses?)
2) most kids will have now have had COVID. Are these figures reflected on a whole-population level now?

Und nur zwei wagen mit funktionstüchtigen Toiletten reicht nicht aus. Mit dem besten Willen schafft eine Familie eine 10-stündige Reise nicht gut wenn’s weder genug Essen noch funktionierende Toiletten gibt.

(Dies geht super durch 4 wagen über unzählige Beine und Koffer während wir links und rechts kippen alle 2 Minuten, anschließend mit ewig Schlange stehen).

Bitte, bitte dafür sorgen dass Eltern ein Essen fürs Kind auch alleine holen können - Fahrkarte zeigen sollte doch ausreichen.

Hab’s dann endlich zum Bordrestaurant geschafft. Sie arbeiten sehr langsam, nichts mehr ist da, und das Kindermenü dürfte man sowieso nur bestellen mit Kind dabei.

I agree, but surely massive financial interests from another nuclear power will matter (depressingly in a manner that mere lives will not….)?
