Never were truer words spoken. There is no reason to restrict paternity leave- but I can think of a few thousand good reasons to encourage concurrent leave or to limit maternity leave.

@deutschebahn.com sitze im ICE29 nach Wien - zum Glück haben wir Sitzplätze, weil vorreserviert. Es gab vor zwei Stunden so viele Menschen in den Gängen und am Boden, dass man nicht mehr zur funktionellen Toilette oder zum bordrestaurant gekommen war.

A useful thread. I credit our history syllabus (honestly, more historiography at Standard Grade level) with so very much when it came to teaching us to evaluate sources at a young age. Sorely needed, for all, pitched to all intellectual levels, from the earliest years of education.

What we’re witnessing in America is what happens when disordered discourse captures a political party, then the state itself. The Republican Party was the first to fall - abandoning truth for conspiracy, ideology for grievance, and policy for performative outrage.
