I recently split my IG accounts into two, one for people I know & community stuff, the other for all other accounts. And there's a hidden way you can see your feed in reverse chronological order. Click "Instagram" in the left corner & choose "Following." It's the only thing that keeps IG tolerable

Okay so it did work for turning my daughter's random details about a movie into the correct answer. My guess was "Treasure Island." Close by AI won this round

Okay fine, one use case for ChatGPT. Plugged my kid's description of some movie in and it gave it to me. My guess was "Treasure Island" so I guess you win this one, AI.

Woohoo my preorder of @maggiestiefvater.bsky.social's new book "The Listeners" just arrived 😍😍😍

I'll read it by the end of the year; the TBR has rules (and also the last two books of the Raven Cycle on there that I wanna finish first).

Okay wow I thought it was bad when I suspected my phone was just low-key *listening* to everything going on in my house. Next level rude.

"Ibis" is beautiful debut novel by
@justinhayneswriter.com set mostly in Trinidad and Venezuela dealing with migration, history, colonialism, and birds. Dusted with dangerous magic. Compassionate to its core.

5 Stars. Detailed Review: app.thestorygraph.com/reviews/408c...

Ack, my very first snip that I am sharing with anyone anywhere! This just happens to be exactly the scene I'm working on; right after the main character receives the news that will change her life. Chaos seems about right.

I do not smoke pot. The few times I've tried it, it was deeply awful. So explain to me why the only music I can write to these days is Beezlebong.

Also pls send me all your #sludge and #stonermetal recommendations

I have eaten this up and now I'm slow walking the last 50 pages because it is so freaking good. So good it makes me insecure about writing anything but nevertheless I persist (both reading and writing). And thankfully there are two more books in the series #booksky 💙📚🪐 @maggiestiefvater.bsky.social

This is the book that won me, longtime book snob, over to sci-fi and romance. Incredible world building, action packed but not frenetic, perfect slowburn romance. Keep your shadow daddies, no book boyfriend will ever top Rupert. 📚💙 #booksky @rachel-aaron.bsky.social

I am 40% done with this and I'm considering DNFing. I just kind of hate all the characters. And also the writing style. But I want to find out about the bunker. Should I keep going? Does it get better? I think I'll read to halfway and if I still feel this way I'm giving up

I made an image of mine the other day. I have a rather abrupt divide between 2⭐ & 3⭐. Basically three gradients of "good" and two of "did not finish."

Who's excited about the third book in the Emily Wilde series being released February 11?! 📚💙

Run, don't walk, to read the Emily Wilde books. Such a delight with this dynamic. It's also a very light touch romance.

It's free and there's no limits! There are some premium options you can pay for but I have never felt limited by the free app. I might pay for an upgrade simply because I'd like to give them money, I like it that much. I love it for tracking my lists but the graphs are a gorgeous perk
