First time in Japan!!! (finally) 🌸 From exciting science and JAXA in Tsukuba to brainstorm our crazy space biology ideas to Tokyo nights, temples and retro gaming in Akihabara, this is truly a dream come true

Succes!! We tested the @10xgenomics.bsky.social new Visium HD 3' kits on our beloved bats🦇Big thanks to @cyrildegletagne.bsky.social @crcl-research.bsky.social Clara Renou Marie-Laure Schneider and Carole Audoynaud for making it possible! New results to come for NOVELTEETH :) @erc.europa.eu

Wohoo! It's happening, @ariadnamorales.bsky.social and I are testing the brand new (we are the 1st in France! and on 🦇) spatial transcriptomic Visium HD kit @10xgenomics.bsky.social in Lyon with @cyrildegletagne.bsky.social at CRCL. It is so amazing to see things developing :)

Dreaming about being home as last week (pictures) when boiling in Montpellier catching up on papers. Glaciers and permafrost are suffering with the heatwave (0°C level at 4900) 🥵😞

An Artibeus jamaicensis covered with pollen at UWI in Trinidad. These bats are fruit bats but also add other components in their diets like insects or pollen. Except for a few species, while there are clear adaptations to certain diets, they are not necessarily strict.
