Aid in and hostages out. Neither should ever be used as bargaining chips.
Israel’s decision to halt aid into Gaza is alarming.

International humanitarian law is clear: We must be allowed access to deliver vital lifesaving aid.

We can’t roll back the progress of the past 42 days. We need to get aid in and the hostages out.

The ceasefire must hold.

We hope and pray this ceasefire gets over the line and all three phases are fully played out. We should be under no illusion that there is an easy path here; the road ahead is fraught with difficulties, alongside the opportunities to help people in dire need.

We have to hope/pray the fragile ceasefire gets over the line and holds. The role of organisations like Al Ahli is so important. Very difficult and fraught days ahead, the path to lasting peace, the respite Gaza’s people need, freedom for all hostages is not easy @FollowEmbrace
