Watching the Biden admin weaponize the terrorist attacks in Israel is giving me some serious deja vu. They did this after 9/11 and most Americans who have never been outside the country don’t even realize how much we are resented for this.

I feel like I’ve been transported to 2003. The instant reversion has been truly unnerving, watching a snapback to a time before we learned where this all leads. I haven’t felt this powerless to history in my entire life.

I feel like I’ve been transported to 2003. The instant reversion has been truly unnerving, watching a snapback to a time before we learned where this all leads. I haven’t felt this powerless to history in my entire life.
As a Muslim post 9-11 was the scariest time for me and darkest in this country.
The post-9/11-style generalized Islamophobia and bloodlust coming from people I thought I respected this week has been unbelievably shocking and jarring.
