Strange as it may seem, the number of those choosing this animalistic lifestyle never ceased to grow. It wasn’t unusual, in particular, for men working as stablehands & trainers to grow so fascinated by it that they wished to become part of the very same livestock they’d been taking care of.

As a horseboy’s status was just slightly above that of an out-and-out animal, they weren’t allowed to wear any clothing (except, maybe, some sort of rough footwear) & were actively discouraged from ever speaking unless indispensable. This was supposed to help them adjust to their new lives.

Many owners also allowed stablehands the sexual use of the horseboys in their care, since it helped them bond with each other; this stimulation also helped horseboys stay in the right mood – always in heat, always eager to serve their superiors (which included even the lowest stablehand).

Of course, owners who had big stables, or simply were wealthy enough, tended to leave their horses most of the time in the care of their stablehands, whose daily job it was to feed them, brush and groom them, and exercise them, so as to keep them fit and healthy - and looking beautiful.
