Filed today! Next term #SCOTUS will determine whether a def’s 6A rt to counsel is violated when a trial court prohibits the def & counsel from discussing def’s testimony during a 24 hr recess at a critical stage of trial. We argue that it is @myconstitution.bsky.social @brooklawschool.bsky.social

The federal charges against Mangione, which could result in death, underscore capital punishment’s arbitrariness. The death penalty has never been about just punishment, it’s about politics, posturing, & power.
