Stoked that ours is the first library, IN THE WORLD, to own and check out a copy of Bad Baby Lich Lords, the new game from @rosscowman.bsky.social and @deernicorn.bsky.social . This game is adorable and I'm psyched to play it.

I'm not often allowed near the display cases, so it was fun today to gather materials and put together this display remembering Nikki Giovanni. I wanted to do one back when she passed, but this timing is good since it lines up with Black History Month!

Just thought the fog was nice yesterday morning, so snapped this on the way into the library.

Oonagh is "hiding" behind this tree so she doesn't have to come inside. Spoiler: she did come inside.

Sometimes it's hard to have a bad day just because it's so darned pretty around here. It doesn't come through super well in this photo, but the sun peaking through these rainforest trees was just captivating.

Flannel and tee-shirt? Guess I'm channeling the 90s today, and it's probably @geistx.bsky.social 's fault! A little more hair, some Aspen cologne, and I'm right back in high school!

A quieter weekend than I had planned. No motorcycle ride, but got to play darts with a friend, and go on some walks. Hope your weekends were everything you wanted them to be, and wishing you a good week ahead! Here is a photo of a cute sloth taking a hot bath.

Loving this book of poetry by Danusha Laméris, and this poem in particular, which to me says both "let things be what they are" and also "we will be okay."

Last week we enjoyed a lovely break down in Seaside, OR with a day-trip to Cannon Beach. We always love the PNW coast in the off-season: quiet (in terms of people), stormy, and always beautiful.

I'm mostly just here to share dog pics, I think, but hey, folks should know that I also like a good charcuterie board!

If you look closely you will see two cute little faces that "do not want to come downstairs, actually, and are quite comfortable where they are, thank you very much."
