I think a good balancing patch for the world would be if you get over a certain amount of in game money you get labeled "Open Season" and anyone can just come steal it.
This prioritizes thoughtful spending or building badass defences and keeps you from getting too OP.

My biggest complaint about STALKER 2 is some side missions require you to get in a house and the way inside for some houses is so asinine and incomprehensible that it rips me right out of the immersion.
