Seeing traditions etc that are not present in most of Europe be called "European" felt very similar to that, even though I'm sure it wasn't meant that way.

As an eastern european living in Germany, I constantly have to deal with Germans more or less directly stating that I am not "actually" European because of discrimination my region faces.
