What is find most interesting is that Cuomo, Adams, or Silwa couldn't do anything like this.

All three campaigns are based on how dangerous and terrible NY is, so i cant imagine any of them suggesting NYers run around and enjoy their city.

Announced today by Mayor @gaineyformayor.com's office and the Pittsburgh Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs: The city will be hosting the 'Pittsburgh World Cup' this June/July.

I'll have more coverage to come for the @pghcitypaper.com.

I had a chance to talk to Lisa Frank, Pittsburgh's Chief Operating & Administrative Officer. I knew that under Mayor Ed Gainey, the Dept of Public Works had reduced injury rates 59%, which is wonderful in itself, but also saved millions of $.

Got to hear some stories! (I'm a process wonk.)

Why?
