Betty and I had a lot of fun.. Sigh. It looks like my animal companions in London will be the Flying Ant swarm everyone is worrying about.

There are many, many things I miss about living in York. The people, the city, Explore Libraries, my little cottage... And Betty the library cat. #LibraryCat #ExploreYork #PublicLibraries

"Can you provide an example of action you have taken in the workplace to support a sense of belonging for all?"

This was a recent interview Q I had. I’ve spent years hiding my neurodiversity. But celebrating it fosters belonging. (1/5)

Ani and I have loved attending #CALC25 today! Some really hard discussions and calls to action amongst tough topics. Thank you to the wonderful @patchedelbows.bsky.social and @michelleab.bsky.social!

#LILAC25 Day 2 (Day 1 for me!) has officially started. It has been so lovely to see so many familiar faces, and the networking event in the museum featured a brilliant skeleton! 📚🦣

This is a video from my @nlisn.bsky.social talk back in January- I presented for the first time ever in December, so to present my diss research to 120 people was slightly intimidating! But everyone was so kind and asked fascinating questions. PS- you can really see the ADHD from my chair behind me!

👩‍🏫Last month I had the incredible opportunity to return to UCL, to join my supervisor @alisonhicks0.bsky.social and @patchedelbows.bsky.social in teaching a seminar on neurodiversity and accessibility in libraries, both for librarians and patrons. It was such fun, and the students were brilliant!

The mug that started it all... If anyone would like said mug (and no, this is not sponsored), it's this one: cottonon.com/MY/fidget-mu...

I'm not sure how this happened, but apparently 200 people want to hear me chat about my diss! Thank you to everyone who has got a ticket and is coming along, it makes my heart happy to see so many people interested in my autistic librarian experiences.
