Cipolla also introduces the problem of government falling into the hands of stupidity. If intelligent people allow stupidity to take over and ruling over others, the only thing that will come off it will be chaos. Sound familiar???

Intelligent people, as explained by Cipolla, act in life by seeking to gain something from their actions, while making others gain something as well. This approach ensures everyone is better off and happy.

5. "The stupid person is the most dangerous type of person there is". This last law of Cipolla explains that stupidity lacks of a plan, goal or expected outcome, stupidity is always irrational, it has no clear or sensible endgame, and so engaging with stupidity will always make everyone lose.

"Besides, the stupid person does not know that he is stupid. This leads Cipolla to enunciate the fourth law: "Non-stupid people always underestimate the harmful potential of stupid people."

"While we can understand the behavior of an evil person (who follows a model of rationality), this is not the case with the stupid person, in front of whom we are completely unarmed: his behavior is unpredictable and his attack cannot be anticipated."

4. "The problem is that stupidity is very dangerous, since it is difficult for reasonable people to understand stupid behavior. "
April 8, 2025 at 12:57 AM
"The third law says that the latter are those who cause "harm to another person or group of people without obtaining, at the same time, a benefit for themselves, even obtaining an injury, something absolutely incomprehensible to a reasonable person who refuses to understand how stupidity can exist."

3. "Every human being falls into one of four categories: unwary, intelligent, evil, and stupid."
April 8, 2025 at 12:57 AM
2. "The probability that a given person is stupid is independent of any other characteristic of the same person." In all social classes, cultures, ethnicities, stupid people are born. It is a universal constant.

if we add up all our stupid actions.

1. "Always and inevitably each of us underestimates the number of stupid individuals that circulate in the world". In reality, it is very possible that the vast majority of humanity fits into this point, especially taking into account that we all do stupid things regularly, and it can be monumental

We have experienced the complete takeover of institutions and the consolidaton of autoritarian rule, if you do not act promptly, things might go the same way up there, so fight and try to maintain, at least the Judiciary’s independence, we lost that and it implied no more limits on power.
