I made a video retrospective on arcade single-screen platformers. What made this genre flourish, and then fade away? How is Bubble Bobble similar to The Binding of Isaac? And where does the farting penguin come into the story? Tune in to learn all this and more!

Trying to get comfortable with animating bigger sprites. This project has been leading me to try out stuff out of my comfort zone, stalling it for some more time, but the experience has been worth and meaningful.

As a dev, a big part of understanding what you're providing and knowing your public is identifying meaningful feedback from the players. Don't use or let any comment cover any potential issue with your game. People who don't know what they want shouldn't alter the experience.

Recently tried out Spikeout (digital battle online), but even after reading guides, didn't understand much how to play until I decided to increase the difficulty to the hardest and started replaying the first couple of sections.
