This is for future Patrick, but might work. Get your favorite non-drowsy severe cold/allergy medicine (if you go to Target get the Up and Up equivalent...same drugs/cheaper) and start taking it before going to a convention to head off the possible problems instead of reaction after getting.

SMB2 is tough one to put here as a reskin of Doki Doki Panic and not an original thought to move in a different direction (SMB2 Japan was considered too hard). You could put the mostly reviled (I like it) Castlevania II: Simon's Quest in...RPG elements came to future games (3, RoB, SotN, etc.).

As a longtime writer/editor I can't imagine using a LLM/Generative AI to write emails, copy, reviews, etc. Haven't even visited or used any of them and my full-time job has been in IT for almost 30 years now. These are destroying a number of industries including tabletop, writing/editing, art, etc.

I understand what you're saying, but Superman is weak against magic (the One Ring is magical) and Sauron's influence would likely work faster and more intensely on Superman than a hobbit or Batman. This is assuming the ring even gets on any of their fingers. Batman's willpower may weaken influence.

Yep, no doubt. I do like the new song though and wondering if the rest of the tracks will feel old school or not. Taking over for Daft Punk (who did the Tron Legacy soundtrack) was the right way to go for the feel of the series...and he and Atticus have done excellent work on scores for movies.

I remember playing Battletech/Mechwarrior at the old Source location in high school on Snelling/Larpenteur. Haven't had any dreams about it that I remember though.

Someone put Batman, but he has strong willpower. Superman is the obvious choice. The ring is magic and he is weak against that. If it gets on his finger it's game over...you'd be looking at Red Son/Injustice/etc. evil version of Superman.

Totally forgot NiN was coming. Did they play anything new outside of the initial single off of the Tron: Ares soundtrack ("As Alive As You Need Me To Be")? 24 new tracks on September 19th, and the initial single sounds very old school.

How about Supermarionation from 60s TV shows like Supercar, Fireball XL5, Stingray, Thunderbirds, etc. and the more modern interpretation (named "Supercrappymation" by Trey and Matt), Team America: World Police?

Different areas of government = different budgets. ICE=Homeland Security, Energy Infrastructure=Dept. of Energy. Homeland has over $50 billion more to spend than Energy from what I can find currently (Defense=$2.2 Trillion, way more). My guess is the gap is bigger with the bill that just passed.

Yeah, think Steam has been hosed since the sale began. Just trying to look up list of specific genres (like board games) to see what might be on sale and it takes forever to load a small list, then you hit more and wait longer.
