I love when trucks park in the “compact cars only” spots in the garage, blocking half the lane. The spot is on the first floor, so it’s clear they didn’t even try to find another spot.

Renewed a birthday tradition by making my favorite food (both to cook and to eat): paella. I normally make it on my grill so the pan will heat evenly, but rain this afternoon meant I had to use the stove.

We made a new culinary creation: jambalaya dumplings! Basically, jambalaya without the rice, wrapped in Asian dumpling wrappers. They need a little refinement (less andouille, more shrimp), but they’re tasty.
