The giving everyone currency is so shitty because I’m sure a ton of players spent it.

Does Ubisoft reverse the credit and leave players with balances in the negative thousands of dollars? There’s just no good way to recover from something like that.

You don’t have to deal with time zones or leap years, or anything that would actually be challenging.

You literally take a timestamp _with any basis_, do a subtraction, and put it on the screen.

Maybe I’m missing something, and I apologize if I’m not considering some hidden complexity, but like…

I haven’t had the time to get back into it, but it feels like LEGO has really prioritized making sets for adults recently, and I’m a huge fan.

Like, yeah I would like a really nice LEGO cactus to sit on my desk, good idea.

I love that! The old-school bush pieces actually make a really nice wreath!

Excellent choice! Those Technic pins can act as a System stud so now you can attach any bricks you want to your head!

Deep Rock Galactic has stuff like this in the pre-mission lobby, and honestly it’s the best part of the game.

Me n the boys on our way to Elite Sanctuary Onslaught yet again.

Alt: A gif of Gauss from the game “Warframe” sprinting chaotically towards the camera. He is moving far too fast, and bright lights are zipping past, giving the impression of an insane concert light show.

Not a joke.

I have persistent nightmares in which I realize I stopped going to a class and have missed a huge chunk of it.

I only recently realized I was having the recurring dream because it actually happened, and I had forgotten about it.

Come to Warframe! We have

“Nun but can kiss”
“Uh oh daddy, I’ve been naughty”
And “Abluesive Boyfriend”

Oh wait! Never mind you’re totally right!

In that case, I’ve got no idea why it runs so poorly 😅
December 10, 2025 at 9:17 PM
Just checked, and this is the first time it’s ever come out on an ARM device 😬

I’d bet you anything there’s some x86 dependent code deep in the guts of the Creation Engine…
December 10, 2025 at 8:04 PM
For it to run THAT poorly, they’ve gotta be doing something utterly insane.

My money is on it not being a native port, and is instead limping along on an x86 -> ARM compatibility layer.

AI is not a product, it’s a predator, and learned helplessness is a powerful retention model.

The only way to emerge unharmed is to set a boundary from day one. Even if you can’t avoid contact, don’t allow yourself to lose sight of what it is.
December 10, 2025 at 3:23 PM
It preys on insecurities in the exact same way. Sure you could try drawing it yourself, but AI will probably do it better, so let’s just let it do it. It will pretend to know the answer and make up some bullshit, just like every narcissist in human history.
December 10, 2025 at 3:23 PM
Just imagine a human standing over your shoulder watching everything you do.

“That’s awesome, you did a great job! Do you want me to rewrite it to be better? You’re talented, but there are some areas where I could probably do it better than you.”

It never made it to release, but Rare was really cooking with Dinosaur Planet!

Final shipping solution: make cars explode if they don’t move for 30 seconds.
November 26, 2025 at 4:29 PM
That is fantastic! I’ve got to go re-listen to it!

There are still some GOAP issues to deal with - what do you do if a ghost can’t find a plan to meet its goal given its set of actions?

In that case, it’s a ghost. Just cheat and teleport them or something. Alternatively let them wander for some amount of time and switch them to an “angry” state.
November 24, 2025 at 1:31 PM
You can define archetypes of ghosts by dividing agent actions into sets. A “poltergeist” can move physics objects, while a “specter” can flip switches.

Gives players a sense of what a ghost is capable of, and leads to identical goals being achieved in different ways.
